Description JOB POSITION: Restaurant Management JOB SUMMARY: Here at Skytop Lodge, our associates know to “Expect the Unexpected” This position must be committed to making every experience memorable all while having fun and relishing the incredible atmosphere of the resort. PRIMARY DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS: •Deliver internal and external guest service the Skytop way, going above and beyond •Responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to other employees and coworkers to provide superior guest service •Responsible for all day-to-day operations •Meets all financial goals in accordance to budget •Works closely with the chef and other managers to create an atmosphere of teamwork •Ensures accurate and timely submission of payroll •Attends all mandatory meetings •Follow up with guest feedback in a timely fashion •Excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task in high pressure situations •Ability to communicate effectively and professionally AVAILABILITY: •Must be available weekends, holidays, and night shifts. QUALIFICATIONS: •1+ year in upscale restaurant as supervisor/management *required* •1+ year working with wine/spirit service*required* •Demonstrates interpersonal sound judgment and decision-making skills •Must be able to work independently •Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently •Must be able to work in a team •Must be able to stand entire shift •Some of the time will be spent working actively including but not limited to bending, stretching, lifting and walking. RESPONSIBLE FOR: Keys, cash handing and inventory. HAZARDS ENCOUNTERED: Hot cooking equipment, sharp knives can be dangerous if used in a careless manner. Wet or slippery floors and some cleaning chemicals can be hazardous if directions are not followed. PRIOR EXPERIENCE: Knowledge of food handling, supervisory experience, and customer service.
