Social Eating House and Bar is a well-established restaurant in the busy Oracle Precinct, Broadbeach. We pride ourselves on personable & knowledgeable service, International flavour share plates & an award winning wine list.
This is an opportunity for an experienced manager with at least three years of experience in a similar environment to join our team. Your considerable operational experience and staff development and training skills will enable you to lead and mentor your team to deliver consistently high standards of productivity. Candidates must be highly organised, energetic and enthusiastic and have the drive for success in this demanding role.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Ability to lead, manage, train and mentor a team of full time, casual and part time staff
  • Oversee day-to-day operations as well as ensuring that staff are well equipped to uphold the standard operating procedures to maintain a high standard of service in your absence
  • Ability to drive sales and profitability by identifying and delivering on opportunities for growth
  • Empowering staff to deliver exceptional service through leading by example
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a positive working environment handling employee and customer issues appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Capability to ensure effective OH & S standards are being maintained
  • A personality that motivates and encourages employee morale and staff retention
  • A collaborative nature - working with upper and assisting management to expand and develop the growing business through sales analysis, marketing strategy, and greater understanding of the hospitality industry
  • Developing strategies to drive patronage across all meal and service periods
  • Ensuring staff are well versed with the current menu and have the ability to up-sell food and beverage
  • An eye for detail, with the ability to problem, solve, prioritising workloads to deliver deadlines and KPIs
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to control costs and drive revenue
  • Passion for team management and staff development
  • Comprehensive and progressive knowledge of new and old world wines with a desire to enhance the guest experience by providing superior wine service and sales
  • Passion and enthusiasm, with a very “hands-on” approach
  • Ability to work under pressure and autonomously
  • Well-groomed and professional in appearance
  • Strong interpersonal, motivational, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to delegate and see tasks through to completion
  • Computer literacy
    Salary: $ 75000- $80000 + superannuation
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $75,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
