Job Description
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS INCLUDE:
- Minimum 2 years previous experience in a similar role, within high-end dining operations.
- Strong service skills, with confidence in all aspects of service.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, with excellent written and verbal communication.
- Availability across a variety of shifts, including lunch and dinner service periods, across week day, weekends and public holidays.
- Valid South Australian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
- Full Australian working rights.
- A true love and passion for food, beverage and creating genuine memorable guest experiences.
- Guest and quality orientated.
- A commitment to undertake growth and development within the Sofitel brand.
- Has the attitude and willingness to undertake further development with Sofitel.
Additional Information
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Food & Beverage Manager to build and develop a high performing team by leading and mentoring with a collaborative, motivational and empowering approach.
- Work collaboratively with the Food & Beverage manager and Sommelier in purchasing, stock control and management.
- Lead and supervise Food & Beverage service within the restaurant and bar, to ensure service standards are followed.
- Delivering high-end service and running the operations during busy service periods.
- Assisting with rostering, team development & the overall co-ordination of the department.
- Handling guest concerns and reacting quickly to guarantee memorable moments for our guests.
- Delivering established service sequences whilst bringing your personalised flair and industry experience to each diner.
- Maintaining product knowledge of menus and beverage lists.
