Welcome to Sonder, your local neighbourhood bistro, inspired by travel. This independent restaurant that opened in April, based in the Canton / Pontcanna area.
Sonder has a chef owner, who has a passion for hospitality, having worked in professional kitchens for over 13 years. We are looking to add into this small but experienced core team that already exists. We really value having fun at work, and believe the vibe runs through the restaurant and resonates with our guests.
A passion for food is a must! We believe in premium service and local ingredients, but are dedicated to making a relaxed and welcoming vibe. All of our food is made in house, alongside in house butchery.
This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge, who wants to be a part of a new restaurant opening from the first day, as well as the opportunity to grow with the company and be at the forefront of all new opportunities that could present themself in the future. The restaurant manager role with include the following responsibilities:
- Working alongside the management team to grow the team and the business.
- Working closely to operate all aspects of the restaurant, including people and customer experience
- Be the face of the restaurant and help create great customer relations, helping to build and maintain relationships with regular guests.
