• Job Summary
  Looking for Restaurant General Manager (RGM) to work at a Subway Restaurant located in the Downtown Toronto Area . The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in the food industry, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our establishment runs smoothly, efficiently, and profitably while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1-3 years of Subway Restaurant work experience or supervisory experience in either a food service or retail environment, including Profit and Loss responsibility
• Basic personal computer literacy
• Must be at least 21 years old
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Experience:

• Subway Restaurant: 2 years (required

• Lead and manage all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, training, and team management.
• Supervise daily activities to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of supplies to minimize waste.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to promote restaurant offerings and increase customer engagement.

Licence/Certification:

• PR / Work Permit / Canadian Citizenship (required)

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
