JOB BRIEF:

We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead all aspects of our business. You will deliver a high-quality menu and motivate our staff to provide excellent customer service.
Restaurant Manager responsibilities include maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability and quality goals. You will ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
We’ll expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Together with the Restaurant General Manager, you will be assisting on the following:
· Maximize profitable sales to meet or exceed your restaurant’s sales budgets.
· Come up with and run special promotions to drive sales for the restaurant.
· Assume complete responsibility for all costs to meet your restaurant’s profit budgets.
· Be responsible for and champion Maison Mathis standards, values, and operations practices.
· Establish operational priorities for the restaurant and implement planned initiatives.
· Develop weekly schedules.
· Participate actively in the daily operation of the business, with appropriate focus and balance on all service periods and days of the week.
· Provide guidance and training to the Assistant Managers and the whole team to help them meet their performance goals.
· Evaluate the performance of each of the team and develop incentives, salary adjustments, performance goals, and appraisals.
· Develop managers to be eligible for future Restaurant Manager candidacy within Maison Mathis concept.
· Assume complete responsibility for staffing, scheduling, labor costs, payroll, and human resource management (recruitment, selection, promotion, development, appraisal, and termination). For all this maintain colleague files.
· Monitor and manage controllable operating costs to meet budget expenditure targets.
· Assume responsibility for the accuracy of financial information.
· Build relationships and maintain a presence in the local community and trading area.
· Handle guest complaints in the proper manner.
· Assume responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of all equipment, fixtures, and fittings in line with Maison Mathis standards.
· Conduct weekly management meetings and maintain constant communications with each member of the team.
· Schedule monthly team meetings for kitchen (together with Executive Chef) and front of house.
· Provide input and participate in the development of the restaurant’s budget.
· Assign and delegate responsibilities to Assistant Managers when and where appropriate, with follow up and deadlines.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
