Job Summary Reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage, this opportunity will manage the operations of Trivet Restaurant and In Room Dining encompassed under the JW Marriott Auckland. More information about Trivet can be found via: https://www.trivetdining.co.nz/ The Restaurant Manager will: * Be responsible for restaurant shift operations and overall management of the team * Assist with promoting the restaurant, menu planning, maintaining service excellence, and driving a positive and luxury culture * Improves service by communicating and assisting individuals to understand guest needs, providing guidance, feedback, and individual coaching when needed * Oversees the financial aspects of the department including delivering top line revenue, cost controls and labour management * Ensures compliance with all food & beverage policies, standards and procedures by training/supervising, the follow-up and hands on management * Strives to ensure guest and employee satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget * Be accountable for enforcing all legal obligations professionally and consistently * Determine training needed to accomplish service goals and implementing robust plans * Strengthen the food and beverage/culinary team by assisting in other outlets when needed Candidates with open working rights will be highly regarded.
