JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Restaurant Manager to join our team and to help oversee the daily operations of our busy countryside pub.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, ensuring that our pub delivers exceptional service and high-quality food to our guests in a relaxed countryside setting. This role requires effective leadership skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
This position can be full or part time, depending on the candidate

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Preferably within a pub or fast paced food environment.
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience with skills in team management and leadership.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Allergen awareness
  • Attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by business needs. Our RMs do not work all weekend, so you will always have 1 day off either Saturday or Sunday
    We are not located on a Transport link so own transport is a must. We are in NG25
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: £12.21-£14.50 per hour
    Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring adherence to quality standards and customer satisfaction.
  • Hands on mentality, there will be no office days, we like all our team to be involved at all levels
  • Manage staff, fostering a positive team and work environment
  • Oversee food service times, processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to maintain efficient workflow and timely service delivery.
  • Manage events and private catering
  • Implement and monitor inventory management practices to ensure proper stock levels are maintained for front of house.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly, maintaining high levels of hospitality.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the dining area and kitchen to uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Be involved in our content marketing
