QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a receptionist or host/hostess role within a luxury restaurant or 5-star hotel.
• Familiarity with French or Mediterranean fine dining concepts is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
• Impeccable grooming and professional demeanour.
• Proficient in reservation systems such as OpenTable, Resy, or SevenRooms.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Greet and welcome guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a seamless and memorable first impression.
• Manage reservations efficiently using the restaurant’s booking system.
• Coordinate with the floor team to manage table assignments and optimise guest flow.
• Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and complaints with discretion and care.
• Maintain a clean and elegant reception area in line with the restaurant’s high standards.
• Build strong relationships with regular guests and VIPs, ensuring personalised service.
• Support the restaurant’s brand image by upholding grooming and service standards.
