Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
The Restaurant Reservationist is the primary representative of the restaurant, handling phone inquiries, reservation requests, and informs guests about food and beverage offerings, and specials.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
To succeed in this job, an individual must fulfill each essential duty and possess the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum age of 18 years.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in reservation or a high-volume contact center is preferred.
- Proficiency in restaurant software, including POS, MS Office, and SevenRooms, is required.
- Must be able to work independently and complete tasks according to given instructions and standard practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment with high call volume, which may be somewhat stressful.

- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with guests and staff.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Confirms current day reservations through SevenRooms and phone verification, alerting management of large parties for high-volume orders.
- Communicate with guests regarding special requests and large reservations.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the resort and assist customers proactively with clear communication.
- Address inquiries, complaints, and requests with a positive approach.
- Respond to phone calls and emails promptly and professionally.
- Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.
- Keep workspaces clean and organized.
- Collaborate as a team to assist guests and employees.
- Maintain positive relationships with all employees.
- Maintain a professional appearance according to company standards.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
