An award winning seafood restaurant nestled in the heart of downtown Aurora. We offer a full service menu featuring fresh oysters, appetizers, seafood, steak, pastas and much more. We are currently hiring for server position, part-time. If you are a team player, bring a positive attitude and strive to give customers the best experience, we would love to hear from you!

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience
  • Hands-on experience in cashier duties
  • Attention to cleanliness and safety
  • Patience and customer-oriented approach
  • Excellent people skills with a friendly attitude
  • Responsible and trustworthy
  • excellent customer service skills and the ability to exceed customer expectations
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities
  • Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order
  • Attend to customers upon entrance
  • Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages
  • Take and serve orders
  • Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products
  • Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
  • Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
  • Issue bills and accept payment
  • greet customers and seat them in the order in which they arrive
  • familiarize customers with the menu and make appropriate suggestions when requested
  • take customer orders and relay them accurately to relevant team members
  • serve food and beverages
  • clear, properly clean and set tables between uses
  • collect payment from customers in a timely manner
  • assist in training new employees as required
  • anticipate guests’ needs in order to facilitate and enjoyable dining experience
