JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking to hire some hard-working Server(s)!
Experience in working at Chinese restaurants is preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Greet and seat customers promptly and courteously.
  • Order Taking: Accurately take food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
  • Serving: Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and professional manner.
  • Menu Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu items, ingredients, and cooking methods. Make recommendations and answer customer questions.
  • Cleanliness: Ensure the dining area, tables, and serving stations are clean and well-maintained.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Handling Payments: Process customer payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations and restaurant policies.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience as a server or in a customer service role MUST required. Training will be provided as well.
  • Communication Skills: Understands and speaks basic English. Ability to speak Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is a plus.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Friendly, outgoing, and attentive to customer needs.
  • Work Ethic: Essential work ethic, moral code, and punctuality.
  • Multitasking: Able to multitask and manage various responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform well under stress.
  • Availability: Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Able to work flexible hours.
  • Customer Service: Good customer service skills with the ability to follow instructions/orders.
  • Food Safety: Basic knowledge about food safety (Food Safe Level 1) and serving alcohol (Serve It Right).
