OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree or Diploma in Hotel Management required; student or part-time applicants will not be considered.
  • Previous experience in the food service or restaurant industry is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation regulations.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is a plus.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing.
  • Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both guests and staff.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately using the Micros POS system.
  • Provide recommendations and upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience.
  • Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of service.
  • Handle cash transactions and process payments efficiently, ensuring accuracy in cash handling.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, adhering to sanitation standards.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all food handling guidelines are followed.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing excellent guest services at all times.
  • Perform basic math calculations for order totals and change due.
