What will I be doing?

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

• Ability to communicate with guests and give them information.
• Stand or walk for varying lengths or time, sometimes for long periods.
• Move fingers and hands easily and quickly to handle things like dishes, money and merchandise.
• Lift and carry things like heavy trays.

• Presents menu, answers questions and makes suggestions regarding food and service.
• Writes order on check or memorizes it.
• Relays and/or enters order into POS system for the kitchen and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
• Observes guest to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed.
• Totals bill and accepts payment or refers patron to cashier.
• May ladle soup, toss salads, portion pies, and desserts, brew coffee, and perform other services.
• Clear and reset counters or table at conclusion of each course.
• All other duties as assigned by a manager or supervisor.
