Company Description We are looking for Restaurant Servers to join the re-opening of the famed Delano Miami Beach. Set to open its doors in 2026, Delano Miami Beach will fuse historic charm with contemporary luxury, reflecting a reimagined experience that pays homage to the original visionary concept. Comprising 171 rooms and distinct food and beverage concepts, the hotel will preserve its iconic walk-in pool and, in addition, unveil a new pool on an amenity deck, offering breathtaking views of the ocean. Delano Miami Beach will act as the brand’s flagship location, re-establishing Delano as a trailblazer in luxury lifestyle hospitality. Job Description JOB OVERVIEW: Under the general guidance of the F&B Leadership team, the Restaurant Server assist in ensuring friendly, efficient and effective service of food and beverages to all guests in a timely fashion in accordance with standards and individual guest requirements, at all times respecting our company's standards. YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed and comfortable. Present menus and inform guests about daily specials, assisting them in making informed dining choices. Take accurate food and beverage orders, noting any special requests or dietary restrictions. Relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff efficiently to ensure timely preparation and delivery. Serve food and beverages to guests in a courteous and professional manner. Check in with guests during their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly. Clear and clean tables after guests depart, preparing them for the next seating. Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash and credit transactions securely. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including restocking supplies as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service throughout the shift. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices. Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism, seeking assistance from management when necessary. Stay informed about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries effectively. Assist in opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down the dining area. Uphold the restaurant's standards for service quality, appearance, and guest experience. Any other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager. We recognize we are in the hospitality industry and that may require us to provide lateral service. We will on occasion call for each individual in the team to, on a routine basis perform various related tasks as needed in the spirit of providing exceptional guest service. Qualifications SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: High School Diploma or equivalent required At least two years’ experience as a Server in a contemporary dining restaurant preferred Must have an exceptional personality and hospitality driven attitude Possess a gracious, friendly, and fun demeanor Ability to multitask, work in a fast-paced environment and have a high level attention to detail Maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments Ability to work independently and to partner with others to promote an environment of teamwork Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift. Must be able observant and quick to respond to various situations while also multitasking and handling stressful situations. Must be able to twist, tow (push or pull), reach, bend climb and carry objects as necessary. Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand English. Must be able to work inside and outside at all times of the year as needed, based upon business volumes. Additional language ability preferred. All team members must maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance. Specific department uniform guidelines and/or required articles of clothing will be explained to you by your supervisor.
