We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server with a strong understanding of Indian cuisine and beverages to join our dynamic team. QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous restaurant experience preferred, especially in Indian dining environments.
  • Strong knowledge and appreciation of Indian food and drinks, with the ability to describe dishes confidently and accurately.
  • Proven ability to upsell food and beverage items in a natural, guest-focused manner.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
  • Basic math skills to handle transactions accurately.
  • Strong time management skills to balance multiple tables and tasks.
  • Excellent guest service and communication skills to create a welcoming and memorable experience.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to thrive in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and seat guests in a warm, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide detailed knowledge of Indian menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, spice levels, and pairings, to assist guests in making informed choices.
  • Confidently recommend and upsell dishes, beverages, and specials to elevate the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards are met.
  • Monitor tables to anticipate guest needs, resolve concerns quickly, and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including resetting tables efficiently.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations during service.
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery and smooth operations.
  • Assist with light kitchen duties, such as food prep and cleaning, as needed.
