The Engine Room restaurant & bar is preparing to open its doors this September in the heart of Derby. Situated at Riverlights, just steps from the River Derwent and Derbion, the restaurant will cater to both hotel guests and visitors from across the city centre.
We are looking for friendly, professional and enthusiastic individuals to join our front-of-house team as Restaurant Servers. The Engine Room will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner service throughout the week and weekends, with shifts available across all meal periods.

• Greet and seat guests with warmth and professionalism
• Take orders and serve food and drinks efficiently
• Maintain clean and well-presented tables
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations from the menu and drinks list
• Ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience
• Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to maintain high service standards
