JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our vibrant team at the Highfield Hotel and Star of Siam Thai Restaurant . As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that customers have a pleasant visit. Your ability to upsell menu items and manage time effectively will contribute to the overall success of our restaurant.
You will be joining a close knit team within a family run business. Shift will vary week to week but will start at 5:30pm and finish late (latest finish of 11pm)

SKILLS

  • Strong upselling skills to promote menu items effectively.
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards.
  • Experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is advantageous.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
  • A passion for culinary arts and providing outstanding customer service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
