JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong understanding of food safety and handling. As a Server, you will be responsible for creating an enjoyable dining experience for our guests while efficiently managing orders and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

SKILLS

  • Proven experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is advantageous.
  • Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and check processing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated during shifts.
  • Experience in upselling techniques to enhance guest experiences is a plus.

  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system, specifically Micros POS, to process transactions efficiently.
  • Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to assist guests in making informed choices.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while adhering to sanitation and food safety standards.
  • Manage multiple tables effectively, demonstrating excellent time management skills to ensure timely service.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for guest checks.
  • Upsell menu items when appropriate to enhance the dining experience and increase sales.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery while maintaining communication regarding special requests or dietary restrictions.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, utensils, and service areas, following sanitation guidelines.
  • Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
