Schedule: Weekends | 4:00p.m. - 7:00p.m. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Ensure the dining room is spotless and beautifully set for all meals and events. * Greet all residents and guests with a smile, ensuring everyone has a comfortable place to sit. * Take food orders, present them to kitchen staff, and deliver meals promptly and efficiently. * Guarantee the accuracy of orders and check food quality and presentation. * Respond swiftly to resident and guest requests, ensuring their dining experience is top-notch. * Ensure drinks are poured and refilled in a timely manner. * Follow all food handling, safety, and sanitation standards meticulously. * Assist with setting tables, removing dirty dishes, disposing of waste, and restocking inventory. * Remove all walkers from the dining room to ensure safety and return them immediately after meals. * Make each resident and guest feel special, showing genuine pleasure in serving them. * Understand the menu fully and be able to explain the selections to residents and guests. * Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and personal hygiene. * Attend all required in-service training sessions. * Be an active member of the community’s emergency response team. * Maintain a professional appearance and good personal hygiene per company policies. * Take on additional responsibilities with enthusiasm. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS * Must obtain an accredited food handler certification within 60 days, as per State guidelines. * High School Diploma or GED preferred. * 6 months to one year of related experience preferred. * Excellent customer service attitude and ability to interact well with staff, residents, and guests. * Ability to follow written and oral instructions. * Ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete tasks.
