We are currently hiring a motivated Restaurant Shift Lead to help guide daily operations and support our restaurant team. Position Overview The Restaurant Shift Lead helps oversee day-to-day restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring smooth service, quality food preparation, and a positive team environment. You will support the management team by supervising staff, maintaining Capriottis operational standards, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, coaching team members, and developing leadership skills in the hospitality industry. Responsibilities Supervise and support team members during daily restaurant operations Delegate tasks and ensure all shift duties are completed efficiently Maintain Capriotti’s standards for food quality, speed of service, and cleanliness Provide excellent guest service and resolve customer concerns professionally Follow company policies for food safety, sanitation, and cash handling Assist with scheduling support, labor management, and inventory monitoring Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout kitchen and dining areas Support smooth shift transitions through clear communication with management Recognize and encourage team performance and positive contributions Promote a team culture built on respect, accountability, and professionalism What We’re Looking For Previous experience in restaurant, food service, hospitality, or retail leadership preferred Experience as a Shift Lead, Crew Leader, Team Lead, or Assistant Manager is a plus Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to lead and motivate team members in a fast-paced environment Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset Must be at least 17 years old Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays Why Join Capriotti’s?
