The Restaurant Supervisor is primarily responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the dining room by directing the activity of staff, facilitating the prompt and accurate seating and service of all guests, accept payment for food and beverage, and make proper change to help servers in assuring quality customer service. Assist the Director and Assistant Director with day to day operations of all Food and Beverage outlets.
Approach all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner, as well greet and seat guests at appropriate tables in a timely manner. This position will also assist in the training and development of associates as needed, to include providing information to the Food and Beverage Director or Assistant Manager concerning restaurant and/or bar needs.
Ensure that guests are satisfied by assisting with service, seating, and communicating with kitchen and by striving to speak to all guests. Monitor bartenders for proper alcohol service/guest intoxication levels, while adhering to state liquor laws. Work quickly and independently to resolve operational and/or guest issues when necessary, ensuring proper follow though with the appropriate manager, to include end of shift paperwork.
Work schedule varies and may include working on holidays, weekends and evening shifts.
