OVERVIEW

This position is perfect for someone who has worked in the restaurant industry and has a love of board games! It is an all-encompassing restaurant role, including both front-of-house (bartending/serving) and back-of-house duties (cooking/cleaning), as well as requires interaction with guests regarding board game recommendations. As such, the ideal candidate must have a mastery of the english language as well as a very clear verbal delivery. While sufficient training in all areas will be provided, restaurant experience would certainly be beneficial, as well as a strong interest in board games. If you’ve got an upbeat, likeable personality and high energy, and want to work in a restaurant atmosphere surrounded by fun, then this could be the job for you! Shift start times range from noon to 6:30, and can go as late as 1:30am. Position will offer 3-4 shifts per week to begin.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent oral use of the english language.

• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with guests.
• Familiarity with serving, bartending or cooking is an asset but not required.
• Time management, logical thinking, and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, specifically evenings and weekends as needed.
• Comfortability working alone as well as with others.
  *Smart serve, Food-handlers certification, and First aid will be required, but can be obtained after the hiring process.

• Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and quality service.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback to ensure an exceptional dining experience.
• Craft and serve our house cocktails and feature beverages as well as cafe options and beers.
• Cook a variety of foods to a high level of quality.
• Maintain a clean work environment and restaurant.
• Interact with guests to identify their needs/desires from games and then make appropriate recommendations and helping guide through setup and rules.
• Supervise other staff on your shift and manage labor costs.
• End-of-day requirements, resetting and locking up the restaurant.
