Position: Restaurant Supervisor

Location: 19 Lower Cork St, Mitchelstown, Co. Cork

Start Date: Week Commencing 14 September 2026.

O'Callaghan's Cafe and Delicatessen is a day-time cafe and deli in Mitchelstown. We serve breakfast, lunch and light snacks all day. We are closed on Sundays and Mondays so the work week is Tuesday - Saturday.

The Role:

We're looking for enthusiastic and experienced Restaurant Supervisor to support the management team in delivering outstanding guest experiences and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant.

As a Restaurant Supervisor, you'll lead by example on the floor, motivate the team, maintain exceptional service standards, and help create a positive working environment where both guests and staff thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise the front-of-house team during service.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure every guest has a memorable experience.
• Support the Restaurant Manager with the day-to-day running of the business.
• Train, coach, and develop team members.
• Ensure company standards, procedures, and presentation are consistently maintained.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and health & safety.
• Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure seamless service.
• Work with the deli supervisor to ensure flow between the two departments.
• Be able to manage the deli area in the absence of the deli supervisor.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous supervisory experience in a busy restaurant, cafe or hospitality environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• A genuine passion for hospitality and guest service.
• Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude with excellent organisational skills.
• A hands-on approach with the ability to inspire and motivate others.

Pay: €16.00 per hour

Experience:
