ABOUT YOU

We are seeking passionate senior Food and Beverage professionals with fine dining experience. Good knowledge of wine or exposure to presenting wine in a restaurant setting will be highly regarded. You will have exceptional customer service skills, a positive and enthusiastic attitude, and the ability to retain your high standards in a busy and demanding position. Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to provide guidance and mentoring to staff is essential to the success of this position.

Responsibilities
  • Set restaurant in line with booking requirements and customer requests
  • Break down and cleaning of restaurant
  • Assist with rostering requirements and shift coverage
  • Provide staff training to new team members and assist with current staff development plans
  • Supervise and manage staff on shift
  • Resolve customer complaints
  • Prepare and serve barista standard coffee
  • Provide full fine dining table service
  • Prepare and serve beverages; including cocktail and presentation of wine
  • Facilitate room service, taking orders and delivery
  • Follow RSA government legislation requirements
  • Maintain cleanliness front of house areas
  • Set up and break down of Function and Events on site
  • Oversee and manage daily open and closing procedure
