We are looking for motivated and reliable team members to join our front-of-house and kitchen teams as we continue to grow. We are seeking for 2 Waitstaff and 2 Cooks.
Position: Full-Time Waitstaff
Salary: From $63,000 per year
Location: Cairns, Queensland

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 6 months experience in a hospitality or customer service role
  • Good communication skills and a friendly, professional manner
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays
  • Hospitality qualification desirable but not essential
    Position: Full-Time Cook
    Salary: From $77,000 per year
    Location: Cairns, Queensland

  • Basic knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and hygiene practices
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn

  • Culinary qualifications desirable but not essential

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Welcome customers, present menus, and explain menu items when required
  • Take and relay accurate food and beverage orders to the kitchen and bar
  • Serve food and drinks to tables in a timely manner
  • Clear and reset tables between guests
  • Handle customer payments and operate POS systems
  • Maintain cleanliness of service areas, tables, and utensils
  • Follow hygiene, safety, and service procedures at all times

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure correct portion sizes and presentation for each dish
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils
  • Store food correctly and monitor stock rotation
  • Follow food safety and workplace health & safety procedures at all times
  • Work as part of a team to ensure timely service during busy periods
