The Oak Barn Restaurant is an independent top rated, 150 cover restaurant in West Sussex.
We specialise in rosette standard menus using locally sourced ingredients to produce Modern British Fayre.
The ideal candidate will have a natural flair in team management and leadership within a hospitality background.

  • Leadership & team motivation abilities
  • Strong hospitality background (bartending/serving experience)
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving & decision making
Responsibilities
  • Manage reservations, greeting and seating customers on arrival
  • Hosting & expediting
  • Ensure timely & accurate delivery of food & drink
  • Answer questions regarding menus & make recommendations
  • Opening & closing business
  • Support smooth daily operations & assisting management
  • Maintaining standards of quality control, hygiene, health & safety
  • Training new staff to our high standard of service
  • Organise & manage events and create promoting social media content
