Description
Benefits: 401(k) Competitive salary Dental insurance Health insurance Opportunity for advancement Training & development Do you actually enjoy helping people when things go wrong? When a pipe bursts at 2:00 AM or a kitchen catches fire, most people panic. We don’t. We’re the team that shows up to stabilize the situation and start putting lives back together. We’re looking for someone who isn't afraid of hard work, doesn't mind getting dirty, and actually cares about doing a job right. If you’re dependable, can handle a on-call schedule, and want a job where you aren't stuck behind a desk, this is for you. What the Job Looks Like You’ll be the "boots on the ground" on every job. You’ll be working under a Crew Chief to get homes and businesses back to normal. Load the trucks, prep the gear, and get the right supplies to the job site. You’ll be extracting water, removing damaged drywall, cleaning up soot/fire damage, and setting up drying equipment. You’ll follow the SERVPRO® playbook to make sure the job meets industry standards. We don't leave a mess. You’ll make sure the job site is cleaner when you leave than when you arrived. You’ll help keep our trucks and warehouse organized and our equipment ready for the next emergency. You’ll stay in constant contact with your Crew Chief and the rest of the team to make sure nothing falls through the cracks. What We’re Looking For You can follow directions and talk professionally to a homeowner who is having a bad day. If you’ve done restoration or cleaning before, that’s great. If you have IICRC certifications (WRT), even better. If not, we’ll train the right person. You show up on time, every time. High school diploma/GED, a valid driver’s license (must be able to drive a commercial van), and the ability to pass a background check. The Reality of the Role (The Tough Stuff) This is a labor-intensive job. You’ll be on your feet all day, climbing ladders, and working in tight spots like crawlspaces or attics. You need to be able to lift 50 lbs. on your own and up to 100 lbs. with a partner. You’ll be around dust, chemicals, and occasionally some pretty bad odors. We provide the PPE, but you have to be okay with the environment. Standard hours are the baseline, but emergencies don't follow a clock. You’ll be part of a rotating on-call schedule. When the call comes in for a flood at 10:00 PM, we go. The Benefits Competitive hourly pay. Real opportunity to learn the trade and move up to a Crew Chief or Manager role. Training and industry certifications.
Responsibilities
The specialist will act as the primary field technician, responsible for loading trucks, preparing gear, and executing mitigation tasks such as water extraction, fire damage cleanup, and setting up drying equipment at job sites. They must ensure all work adheres to industry standards and leave the job site cleaner than they found it.
