The position requires a a hard worker that is ready to help the community in their time of need. A few of the primary job functions are as follows: Inventory and load the work vehicle with equipment, supplies, equipment needed for each project. Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and clean equipment appearance. Prepare rooms and areas for work activities (moving furniture, setting up containment and placing equipment that could weigh up to 100 lbs) Perform production processes as directed, such as using power tools, removing drywall, flooring, insulation and cabinetry. Adhere to safety and risk management guidelines at all times. Communicate with crew chief and other technicians to maintain efficient production processes Perform end of the day cleanup and breakdown in order to leave the jobsite with a clean and orderly appearance. Learn to use monitoring technology and mitigation software. Position Requirements are as follows: Self Motivated Effective oral communication Basic math skills Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred High School Diploma/GED Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (attics and crawl spaces) Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift carry objects Ability to work with/around cleaning products/chemicals Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law Benefits of working for SERVPRO of Cullman/Blount Counties include: Paid Time Off Holiday Pay Paid Training Health Benefits Advancement Opportunities All employees of a SERVPRO Franchise are hired by, employed by, and under the sole supervision and control of an independently owned and operated SERVPRO Franchise.
