Responsibilities * Assisting residents to meet rehabilitation goals through exercise modalities * Managing and teaching exercise activities to groups of residents * Interdepartmental communications within care team of both nursing and therapy * Documentation of resident exercise treatments Qualifications * Must be a Certified Nursing assistant in good standing with the State and maintain certification throughout employment with Avalon * Must have one year experience working as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) * Meet State and federal requirements, generally 12 hours, in service education * Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English. * Recent education or clinical hours are required. * You need to be at least 18 years old. * Must pass criminal background investigation, reference inquiry * Experience with fitness instruction is preferred Avalon Health Care Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #AvalonCNA

Responsibilities

The Restorative Aide will assist residents in achieving rehabilitation goals through prescribed exercise modalities and manage/teach exercise activities to groups of residents. This role requires interdepartmental communication with the nursing and therapy care teams and accurate documentation of resident exercise treatments.
