Responsibilities * Assisting residents to meet rehabilitation goals through exercise modalities * Managing and teaching exercise activities to groups of residents * Interdepartmental communications within care team of both nursing and therapy * Documentation of resident exercise treatments Qualifications * Must be a Certified Nursing assistant in good standing with the State and maintain certification throughout employment with Avalon * Must have one year experience working as a certified nursing assistant (CNA) * Meet State and federal requirements, generally 12 hours, in service education * Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English. * Recent education or clinical hours are required. * You need to be at least 18 years old. * Must pass criminal background investigation, reference inquiry * Experience with fitness instruction is preferred Avalon Health Care Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer. #AvalonCNA

Responsibilities

The Restorative Aide will assist residents in meeting their rehabilitation goals through exercise modalities and manage exercise activities for groups of residents. They will also communicate with the care team and document resident exercise treatments.
