OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Restorative Registered Dental Hygienist to perform a variety of dental hygiene and restorative procedures. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge in restorative care, a passion for patient care, and the ability to collaborate effectively with our dental team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in Canada.
  • Certification in Restorative Dentistry or the ability to obtain it.
  • Minimum [2] years of experience in a dental hygiene role, with a focus on restorative care.
  • Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based environment.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities
  • Perform restorative procedures such as filling, sealing, and applying preventative materials.
  • Provide routine dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing.
  • Conduct comprehensive periodontal assessments and charting.
  • Administer fluoride treatments and sealants.
  • Take and develop X-rays.
  • Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and home care instructions.
  • Assist with the preparation of restorative materials.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Collaborate with dentists and other dental staff to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Stay current on dental procedures and techniques, especially in restorative care.
  • Ensure all sterilization and infection control protocols are followed.
