ReStore Associate - Penticton

Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Penticton is looking for a full time associate to join their awesome team. The ReStore is open from 9:30 am until 5pm Monday through Saturdays. The ideal candidate will be willing to work Saturdays on a regular basis.

JOB SUMMARY: Working as part of a team, the ReStore Associate performs all general operations and merchandising duties. Key responsibilities include:
*operating the cash register
*providing excellent customer service
*ensuring store cleanliness
* accepting and screening drop-off donations
*ensuring the timely processing of product - cleaning, pricing stocking the sales floor
* assist customers with moving product
* ensuring the yard and loading areas are clear and safe

KNOWLEDGE/REQUIREMENTS:

Good physical condition
Effective communication
Attention to lifting and safety practices
Strong interpersonal skills
Independent worker
Operation of lifting devices and tools
Adaptable to changing environment
Criminal Record Check Required
Valid Drivers License and working vehicle
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $18.01 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

Shift:

• 8 hour shift

Work days:

• Every Weekend
• Monday to Friday
