  • A track record of managing non-performing loans, engaging with borrowers, and leading difficult conversations to drive positive outcomes.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess financial risk, structure proposals, and prepare high-quality credit reports.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage with senior management and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of Watchlist relationships, engaging directly with borrowers to assess their financial position and explore recovery strategies.
  • Conduct detailed credit risk analysis, evaluating loan structures, security, and borrower capabilities.
  • Develop and present strategic recommendations to senior management and internal stakeholders.
  • Take ownership of strategy execution, ensuring regular monitoring, reporting, and timely updates to leadership.
  • Lead discussions with borrowers, attending meetings and site visits to gather critical insights and drive negotiations.
  • Collaborate with internal divisions to ensure seamless handovers and alignment on risk management strategies.
  • Work closely with external professionals such as valuers, solicitors, and insolvency practitioners to support informed decision-making.
