JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with a focus on exceptional customer service, team management, and operational efficiency. As the Floor Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have an outstanding dining experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar supervisory role within the food service industry.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Micros POS.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on creating positive dining experiences.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to company policies.
  • Manage and train staff, including interviewing, onboarding, and ongoing development.
  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including Micros POS.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and effective communication between front-of-house and back-of-house teams.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area and kitchen facilities.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
