Healthcare Professional with current registration (Nurse, Paramedic, ODP etc). Post-registration experience involving teaching and mentoring staff in clinical skills, education and/or resuscitation. Immediate Life Support (ILS) provider. Teaching qualification (e.g., Facilitating Learning and Assessment in Practice (FLAP), Generic Instructors Course, Preparing to Teach in Life-Long Learning (PTLLS) QCF Level 4, or equivalent ILS/EPLS instructor).
Evidence of relevant and up to date continuing education and professional development. Post-qualification experience within an acute healthcare setting is essential. Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrate excellent teaching and assessing skills with the ability to use a wide variety of techniques and mediums.
Ability to devise, plan and help implement new training programmes. Excellent organisational and time management skills. Ability to use initiative and make effective decisions
