The Retail Activation Specialist primary objective is to create and ensure the best consumer experience at the Point of Sale (POS) regarding the right look and feel conform the Merchandising guidelines at every physical POS. Supporting the Senior Trade Marketing Manager in development and implementation of a UX concept in DACH Retail. You will have the responsibility to:

  • Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and company’s objectives. Analyze sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
  • Collaborate with suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and timescales. Produce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventory
  • Project management and POS rollouts from customer requirement to finished execution, ensure quality of deliverables, within time and cost
  • Develop activation methods: how to engage best with consumers, what works at events for consumers to experience and understand our products
  • Plan, execute and measure the results, calculate the ROI and share reports / learnings / best practices within DACH, UK and other countrie

  • Qualified and experienced in Retail/ Visual Merchandising combining theoretical with practical experience (brand, agency, marketing, sales)

  • Strong organization skills and flexibility
  • A great passion for brand building and retail go to market planning
  • Proven ability to juggle a large workload, set appropriate priorities and someone who is focused on delivering to plan
  • Understands to manage changes in requirements with flexibility whilst relentlessly pushing for brand targets. Excels in crisis.
