WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
We’re looking for someone with 1–2 years of experience as an Analyst, ideally with a background in online retail. You’ll be passionate about working with data, spotting trends, and turning numbers into meaningful insights. You’ll have a strong grasp of Excel and SQL, with familiarity in tools like Power BI and Google Analytics being a big plus.
You should be detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to take ownership of your work. The ability to manage multiple projects, communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and maintain confidentiality is essential. We’re also looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment and is ready to grow with the role.

THE ROLE:
As a Retail Analyst at IMRG, you’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining our market-leading data analysis programme. You’ll work closely with the Retail & Data Director to produce IMRG’s market Index and weekly market reporting. The role involves detecting anomalies, liaising with retail members to ensure accurate data submission, and building new data studies for our insights programme.
You’ll also contribute to the development of our Digital Dashboard and have the opportunity to present your findings at IMRG conferences and events. This is a hands-on, varied role that offers autonomy and real opportunities to make an impact.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the production and development of IMRG’s market Index
Manage weekly market reports and identify data anomalies
Liaise with retail members for data accuracy and consistency
Assist members with data submission setup
Analyse Index Data and transform it into meaningful insights
Create new data studies for the Data Insights programme
Improve and develop the Digital Dashboard
Maintain a clean and organised CRM database
Present insights to retail audiences
