General Manager – Farm Shop, Cafe & Kitchen
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced General Manager to facilitate day-to-day operation of our Farm Shop & Café. This role requires strong organisational skills, effective leadership, and the ability to maintain high standards across both customer service and compliance. This is a hands-on role in a small team, you will be serving customers daily.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operations across café, shop and kitchen with precision and flair.
  • Supervise, support, and motivate the team to deliver excellent customer service.
  • Manage staff rotas, allocate tasks, and monitor performance.
  • Maintain stock levels, oversee ordering, and ensure displays meet company standards.
  • Ensure all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations are strictly followed.
  • Handle customer enquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within hospitality or retail.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritise, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressure.
  • Great understanding of food safety and holding a Level 3 Food Hygiene certificate is advantage - This will be provided.
  • Financial awareness, including cost control and waste management, is an advantage.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and peak trading periods.
