WHAT’S THE JOB?

We are looking for an exciting and passionate individual to join our team working in our Student Shop. The main parts of the role are:

• Serving customers on tills and being the face of the Student Union to our students and staff on campus
• Being in charge of our self-service tills making sure it’s a quick experience for those in a rush
• Managing stock replenishment and standards on the shop floor - this can be cleaning a section (like our sweet section) or creating amazing displays in our clothing and gifts section
• Taking in deliveries and checking them off to make sure everything we ordered is correct.

Ideally we’re looking for someone who can fit in to our team and be confident in delivering amazing customer service whilst being the face of the Union brand - someone who enjoys the challenge of trying new things.
This is a part time job – working 20 hours per week, usually Monday – Friday, 1pm – 5pm, although flexibility is expected depending on what we have going on so some evening and weekend work may be required with plenty of notice.
