Responsibilities

THE ROLE: CASUAL RETAIL ASSISTANT (ONE POSITIONS AVAILABLE)

We are looking for two Casual Retail Assistants to join our brand-new store and become welcoming ambassadors of the BabiesMart experience. This role involves more than traditional retail—it’s about creating positive, memorable interactions and genuinely assisting families in finding perfect solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide exceptional customer service by understanding and fulfilling customer needs with personalised recommendations.
  • Maintain clean, attractive, and organised product displays.
  • Replenish stock promptly and ensure the store remains tidy and inviting.
  • Support store operations including opening/closing procedures, housekeeping, and adherence to safety standards.
  • Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately to manage transactions and returns.
  • Assist with stock management, including stocktaking and alerting management to low inventory.
  • Contribute to social media content creation, product photography, and creative in-store displays and signage.
  • Participate actively in promotional events, sales initiatives, and visual merchandising.
  • Build strong relationships with customers and teammates, fostering a welcoming and inclusive store environment.
  • Communicate effectively with management to share insights, customer feedback, and improvement suggestions.
