JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in finding the perfect products to meet their needs. Your ability to communicate effectively and your passion for sales will contribute significantly to our store’s success.
*Please note the hours for this job are 2pm-5pm, Monday-Friday. Holiday cover will allow for the opportunity of more hours. Our shop is located within the bottom floor of the Forge shopping centre. *

SKILLS

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong command of English; bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills to manage inventory and maintain store presentation effectively.
• Time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods.
• Basic maths skills for handling transactions and providing accurate change.
• Proficient phone etiquette for handling customer calls and inquiries professionally.
• A passion for selling with a proactive approach to upselling products where appropriate.

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store.
• Provide knowledgeable advice on product features and benefits to enhance the customer shopping experience.
• Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales floor by restocking shelves and arranging merchandise.
• Handle transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, ensuring a smooth checkout process.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
