QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE

Previous experience desirable but not essential.

• To serve customers, taking payment by cash and card and giving change.
• Using tills, scanners and manual inputs to record sales.
• To fill shelves, rotating stock to ensure dates are current.
• To receive deliveries, checking address details and delivery notes.
• To ensure compliance with HACCP documentation, risk assessments and health and safety regulations.
• To be responsible for the general hygiene and tidiness of customer areas.
• To build and maintain effective working relationships whilst promoting our culture and values.
• To assist staff from other departments as required and any other duties that may reasonably be expected by the Retail Services Manager.
