Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a full time Retail Sales Assistant to join our team based at Archerfield. This role would suit a retail professional who wishes to combine their passion for customer service with working for an industry leader in RV and Caravan parts and accessories. You will be working as part of a wonderful team supporting Store Management to create a successful environment and provide advice and service to a range of customers.
This position is Mon-Fri. Fantastic career development opportunities present within the broader Fleetwood Australia business.

THE KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE ARE:

  • Providing exceptional customer service, expert advice and guidance to ensure customer expectations are exceeded (in store and via telephone and email).
  • Communicating with customers to advise the status of their orders, organising collection etc.
  • Contributing to store profit targets.
  • Actively seeking opportunities to learn about and understand the product ranges.
  • Merchandising of in store specials for displays to promote products.
  • Maintaining store presentation standards by ensuring appropriate levels of stock, tagging/labelling whilst maintaining a clean, tidy and safe environment at all times.
  • Processing functions through the register system in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Assisting and attending external company sales events such as Caravan and Camping shows when required.
  • Receiving delivery of stock (some heavy lifting required).
  • Carrying out general retail administration duties.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL DEMONSTRATE:

  • Minimum 2 years previous specialist retail sales experience in the Caravan and RV industry (or similar) would be ideal although not essential.
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service.
  • The ability to problem solve and deliver solutions.
  • High level interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
  • The ability to learn quickly and develop exceptional product knowledge.
  • Current Driver’s License.
  • Certificate in Retail or Retail Operations would be an advantage but not essential.
  • Proficient computer experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
