JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance. You will play a key role in managing staff, inventory control, and maintaining store standards to create a positive shopping experience for our customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager is preferred.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent organizational skills with effective time management abilities.
  • Proficient in retail math and budgeting practices to support financial decision-making.
  • Familiarity with merchandising techniques and marketing strategies to enhance product visibility.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for effective communication with diverse customers.
  • Experience with cash handling procedures and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Strong negotiation skills for vendor interactions and purchasing decisions.
