About the Role: As a Retail Assistant Manager at our Flagship site, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Site Manager with the day‑to‑day operations of the site. You’ll lead by example, help guide the team and ensure every customer leaves with a positive experience. Your responsibilities will include: Support and uplift your team by leading from the front, you help set the tone and bring the energy when it counts. Help create a safe, friendly, customer‑first environment that customers and team members enjoy being part of. Assist with kitchen/café operations, including food preparation, presentation, hygiene and service quality, stepping in where needed. Support day‑to‑day site operations, including stock control, fuel, cash handling and overall store presentation. Keep the site running smoothly, clean, organised and ready for busy periods. Use your judgement and initiative to support strong site performance and continuous improvement. Work closely with the Site Manager and team to improve, refine and evolve the site, input and ideas are always encouraged. About You: To succeed in this role, you’ll bring: A passion for customer service and team leadership Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal A proactive, problem-solving mindset This position involves manual handling duties, requiring the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20kg and 16kg regularly, in accordance with safe work practices Be able to work day shifts, Monday through to Friday ranging from 6am start up until 3pm finish. Flexibility to work additional shifts as required from time to time. Adaptable and confident in using technology Due to restriction/requirements on the sale of particular products, all applicants must be 18 years or older at commencement.
