Responsibilities

We are looking for a motivated and experienced retail professional to join our Christchurch store, driving sales and performance in a dynamic charity retail environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, professional setting and takes pride in maintaining a well-presented, welcoming store. You will help create eye-catching window displays, ensure all products are attractively displayed, and contribute to achieving optimum sales.
You will be self-motivated and creative, responsible for managing sales at the till, sorting and encouraging donations, maintaining store standards, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
As part of our retail team, you will bring commercial awareness, a strong understanding of high street fashion, and experience in creating a positive and supportive environment for customers, colleagues, and volunteers. Proficiency in Windows IT packages such as Word and Excel, along with an understanding of social media, is essential.
You will also play a key role in ensuring that both customers and donors receive excellent care and attention, while promoting the work of Lewis-Manning Hospice Care in the community.
While primarily based in one store, you may occasionally be asked to support other Lewis-Manning Hospice shops to cover for staff absences or holidays.
