We’re a busy, family-run florist based in Lucan, dedicated to providing fresh, seasonal flowers for all occasions. Known for our personal service and attention to detail, we create beautiful arrangements both in-store and online. We take pride in our friendly atmosphere and hardworking team – and we’re looking for someone lovely to join us.
The Role
We’re currently looking for a Florist Assistant (Part-Time) to support our team in the day-to-day running of the shop. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys retail, has a genuine interest in flowers, and loves working with people. A can-do attitude and warm, helpful energy are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be a welcoming first point of contact for customers in the shop.
  • Assist with the care and preparation of fresh flowers.
  • Support the team with general daily shop tasks and upkeep.
  • Help manage stock and ensure flower displays are fresh and well-presented.
  • Process orders and till transactions with accuracy and care.
  • Provide consistently excellent customer service, both in person and by phone.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous experience in retail or a customer-facing role.
  • A genuine passion for flowers and interest in floristry (experience a plus but not essential).
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good technical ability and confidence using a till system.
  • A friendly, flexible team player who enjoys being busy and is happy to muck in.
  • Weekend availability and flexibility to work key seasonal periods (e.g. Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas).
