JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will assist the sales team by providing exceptional customer service and helping customers in finding the right products to meet their needs. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skills, a passion for people, and the ability to engage customers through product demonstrations and effective sales techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is great but not necessary.
• Perfect first time job for a student! Sept - March would be a Saturday shift, with busier season being April -August providing the potential for closer to full time hours over the summer.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with customers confidently.
• Ability to demonstrate patience and professionalism when addressing customer concerns or inquiries.

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner both in person and over the phone.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits.
• Provide knowledgeable assistance ensuring customers understand product specifications.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing sales floor through effective merchandising techniques.
• Manage inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed.
• Package and prepare orders for shipping.
• Handle cash/credit card transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Utilize basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy.
• Light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning washrooms, sweeping & mopping floors, washing windows, dusting etc.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals while maintaining a positive work environment.
