Description:
JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while accurately processing transactions. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply, as they will enhance our customer interactions.
EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience in customer service or technical sales is preferred but not required.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate cash handling.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.
- Proven time management skills to handle peak hours efficiently.
- Familiarity with upselling techniques is advantageous.

Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their purchases.
- Accurately process cash, credit, and debit transactions using the point-of-sale system.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during the transaction process.
- Upsell products and services to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Ensure compliance with company policies regarding cash handling and security.
- Assist in inventory management by restocking merchandise as needed.
- Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering customer calls.
